Monday 15th August – bike *** – Around Felixstowe including lunch at the Trimley churches – cloudy and warm.

Days and days of sunshine came to an end today, cloudy, still warm, sadly with no rain but a much more pleasant temperature for doing my exercises in the garden and going on a bike ride around Felixstowe! With our sandwiches made we set off at 12.15 heading down to see the cows along Gulpher Road continuing along Candlet Lane ending up at the two Trimley churches where we enjoy our yummy lunch. Then we collect some blackberries before crossing the huge footbridge to out tree lined route back to Felixstowe. Mag heads for home as I carry on to the view point just in time to see the Harwich foot Ferry land. Back through Landguard, along the prom and home for a cuppa and cake:)
